Q: How do I register a new company on My Broker Venue?A: Select register on the My Broker Venue home page and then select the “I am registering a company for the first time” option, completing all of the relevant data, then select Register. We will then call you to discuss your requirements.
Q: How do I register a new user on My Broker Venue?A: Select register on the My Broker Venue home page and then select the “I am an employee of a company already registered on My Broker Venue” option, completing all of the relevant data including your Existing Brokerage Reference (This can be found under your user settings and will have been emailed to you upon activation). We may then call you to discuss your requirements prior to your account being activated.
Q: How do I reset/change my password?A: Select the “forgotten your password?” link located under the “username” and “password” fields on the main login pane. This will prompt you to enter your username and an email will be sent to you with a link to reset your password.
Q: Why did the site log me out after a period of inactivity?A: If there is no active movement within the site for 5 hours then you are automatically logged out as a security precaution. Any unsaved data will be lost, therefore save your work at regular intervals.
Q: I’ve attempted to login multiple times and keep getting the message “Invalid username or password”, why is this?A: As a security precaution the website automatically locks you out if you enter incorrect details more than 5 times. Simply telephone us and we will help you unlock your account.
Q: Why do I need to register with my own email address? Why can’t I share a generic login email?A: As customer data is held within My Broker Venue, it is essential that user logins are kept both unique and secure. You can register new users via the “Register” link on My Broker Venue. Please ensure you contact us immediately to deactivate users no longer required. For this reason, logins cannot be shared.
